Maybelline Color Tattoo

You've probaly seen the ads for this beauty product plastered all over magazines, but here is an inside look.

After trying a few of the Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo cream eyeshadow (what a mouthful), here is a quick review for those of you curious about trying it out.

First, there are many colors to choose from. Most of which aren't very subtle or natural, so don't purchase in hopes of a nice matte light shadow.

Tough as Taupe is one of the more subtle shades. The lighter colors like Lavish Lavender or Icy Mint are great as base layers. Bold Gold is a great when paired with a darker shade in your crease/on the corners.

I just use my finger to patt/press and smooth the color onto my lid, I find using brushes just gets them gunky and sticky.

This product is on the more expensive side (about $7-9 for a tube), but considering they never crease after a long stressful day it is worth it.

To get as much pigmentation as in the picture featured above, you really do have to pile quite a bit on your finger.

After purchasing a few of these, I do recomend having at least one around and trying it out. They are great for traveling, seeing as you don't need a primer or brush. Go for a more natural color if you are skeptical at first. Have fun with it!!

Kickin' it Keds Style

The classic American shoe has been worn throughout the years, now with Taylor Swift's new line they are even more popular with young people.

The classic white Ked, they navy Ked, and the red Ked are all chic and can basically go with anything:

Kristin Cavallari pairs her navy Keds with a plain jumper/tuinc.

Keds also look great paired with a flowy dress. Mischa Barton pulls off the effortless look with a patterened dress.

Taylor Swift adds a pop of color to her outfit with bright red keds, a mint shirt, and bright yellow wayfarers.

Pair keds with an oxford shirt, navy cardigan, quilted bag, and girly hair piece for a perfect prep look.

Keds can be dressed up with a girly formal dress.

Keds can be paired with an edgy outfit--They don't always have to be bright and preppy. Go for dark jeans, a leather jacket, and dark accesories to nail the look.

Peace, Love, Leather

One of the most versatile, great pieces ever invented...

Whether you are going for that "Bad-A**" look, or you just want a fun piece to spice up your outfit, leather is your go to piece.

The original jacket:

Pair this jacket with a soft, girly dress to balance girly and tough

Opt for a brown jacket for a more natural, toned down look.

Colored leather jackets are a great way to add a pop of color into your day.

Look for jackets with detailing- it will add a distinct touch and spice up the usual jacket.

Leather is great for more than just a jacket

Although some of these looks may be bold and outside of your outfit comfort zone, go for it!! Everyone can pull leather leggings off.

These Bp leggings from Nordstrom have hints of leather, go for these if you don't want to imerse yourself in leather just yet.

Leather is great - throw it on with any old jeans and tee and you have a sassy outfit.

Pretty Little Liars Halloween

For those of you who watched the Halloween episode, all there is to say is...INTENSE... and cliff-hanger much??

All of the "liars" looked fabulous as usual, even on Halloween.

Aria

Aria Montgomery has an edgy, boho unique style. She rocks moto boots and roughed up leather with fun prints - and adds unexpected pops of colors and accesories.

Aria wears short, fitted and flowy dresses to show off her tiny waist

Look for fun quirky dresses, or unusual necklaces and jewlery.

Her style is preppy, modern, and classy.

Spencer wears blazers, sweaters, and oxfords

She usually sticks to classic, tailored fem pieces.

Think bows, nudes, and girly yet menswear

Emily

Emily's style is tomboy, boho, girl-next-door and the simplest of the four, but she still finds ways to add cute surprises to her outfits.

Emily wears simple, quick outfits. She is usually in pants or jeans, or on some days in a flirty dress and sweater.

Stick to the basics, like denim, jackets, and simple tops

Hannah

Hannah's style is glam, sparkled, girly and bold. She is never seen without looking fabulous, makeup and all.

Wear sparkles, bows, and ruffles.

Don't even think about leaving the hosue without some tall heels...
